A grant from the Naturesave Trust has enabled A Single Thread to run a month-long campaign called Mend it May 2024.
The campaign aimed to showcase the power of repair and collective action through a series of 8 mending workshops and social media posts. A total of 193 items were repaired through 8 workshops and online demos.
A Single Thread is a CIC that runs #sustainablefashionweekuk and works throughout the year to engage with the UK community through different mediums, inspiring and empowering direct action in favour of a greener, cleaner and fairer fashion industry.. You can learn more about their work here.
